My name is Beth Horton, and I have been a travel agent in the St Louis area since 2013. To answer the ubiquitous St Louis question: WGHS c/o 1996. I'm a mom of a 9 year old, and a "retired" Army Wife. (My husband retired in 2020.)
I became a travel agent because I was looking for a career change before having a kid, I knew Walt Disney World and Disneyland really well, and people who worked with me referred more people who needed help with Walt Disney World. Now I have THE COOLEST JOB for a homeschooling mom, and my kid seems super spoiled by all the trips (but the truth is she's amazing patient while Mama is working). I still know the Disney Parks really well, but I have branched out a lot since I started.
In 2025 I'm very focused on Universal, because with the addition of Epic Universe, people are realizing Universal is no longer a one-day park (and truthfully hasn't been for some time!) I'm a huge fan of Universal, both Orlando and Hollywood, and an Annual Passholder at the Orlando parks.
My FAVORITE way to vacation, when I'm not in Orlando, is Disney Cruise Line. I'm Platinum Castaway Cay and have been 11 cruises on every current ship but the Treasure (3 months old as of this writing). I'll get to it! I get a group together for a Disney Cruise every year, and we just got back from Marvel Day at Sea on the Disney Dream. We're looking forward to a Halloween on the High Seas cruise in 2026. Stay tuned for details!
